Ceremonies On Solid Ground exists to serve you in the most transformative ceremonies of your lives, including marriages, naming ceremonies and end of life services. Our role is to put you at ease and help make your ceremony just the way you want it. We will gladly and patiently answer all your questions, and we are prepared to offer suggestions based on what you want at your ceremony. We provide a level of professionalism that ensures a well-planned and executed event.

Cassandra Burton is an officiant serving Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, and portions of Maryland. She is a minister duly ordained by the Church of Spiritual Humanism and the American Marriage Ministries with full authority to perform marriage rites and other religious, or non-religious services.
She has conducted culturally powerful events and programs for over 25 years. A notary public for over ten years in the DC community, she is the owner of Burton Mobile Notary Services. She also won distinguished awards for speeches as a member of Toastmasters International.
